I started playing clarinet at age 6 and saxophone at age 12 studying with some of the best players/teachers in Lawrence, Massachusetts like Frank Consentino and Dante Ippolito. I played in their band at age 14 and had gigs with my high school band director Ozzie Vogel by age 16 for 5 summers at Hampton Beach, New Hampshire in a concert/big band playing alto saxophone and clarinet.

I have played in marching bands, concert bands, orchestra, big band, jazz, rock, funk, soul, blues, R&B, country, folk, show bands, church bands, casuals, clubs, hotels, synagogues, and temples. I am currently playing in a wide variety of large and small band gigs and recordings in the Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

I attended Boston Conservatory, Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree, California State University masters program with state teacher certification, and graduated from the Dick Grove School of Music one year Composing and Arranging program. I studied instrument repair at Pasadena City College for two semesters with two repairmen/teachers and in my youth for 13 years had one of the best woodwind repairmen in the world the famous Emilio Lyons who always made all my instruments play virtually perfect.

I am honored to be performing with some of the best musicians, singers, and composers of the world. I always try my best to play with feeling, emotion, and soul regardless of the style of music. Currently looking to find more work in all my areas of expertise, continue to learn, work with good people looking to create music probably for the rest of my life and share some of my experience and knowledge.
